Preferred Employers

The Preferred Employer is a program that recognizes employers demonstrating excellence in both safety and human resource management within their organization.

This program was developed in partnership with the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration and the trucking industry.  The intention is to recognize those employers exceeding the minimum criteria.

A benefit to becoming a Preferred Employer in Nova Scotia is that it allows the employer to bring in professional drivers through the Atlantic Immigration Program.  This is the primary method to bringing in immigrants recommended by the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.
